Sparklehose? Aren’t they like Luna? Never listened to them. I know my friend Kentucky Deluxe played them for me once probably like in ‘97. Are they still around? I know they have a cult following which I guess always makes me skeptical beyond my usual skepticism, but I honestly can’t think of any other bands right now. Are we talking all time American or right now? I assume right now. I really thought they only had one album which was kind of Sunny Day Real Estate suck Lou Reed’s dick slo-core and rip off the V U self-titled Sterling Morrison guitar licks kind derivivitive. Like Luna but more mopey. Anyway that’s just what I remembered about it from almost ten years ago and I’m sure I was fucked up at the time. Ever heard Hasslehorse? They’re from Haltom City.

I’ll commit. COMETS ON FIRE. I can’t recommend them to anyone really but I love them. Iron Butterfly meets the MC5. It would make sense if you heard them I guess. I just like music that’s exciting and this is.
